Customized Shock Absorber Components

High-performance shock absorbers damper components rod guide with density 6.4-6.9g/cm³, featuring outstanding wear resistance.

Material

Our customized shock absorber components, especially piston rod guides for auto suspension parts, are manufactured from high-density alloy composite material. The material density reaches 6.4–6.9 g/cm³. This formula delivers exceptional wear resistance, stable mechanical strength and low friction coefficient. It can maintain stable physical properties under frequent reciprocating friction, effectively reducing abrasion between piston rod and guide, avoiding oil leakage and premature failure of dampers.

Application Scope

These auto suspension piston rod guides & customized shock absorber components are widely used in passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, SUVs and off-road vehicles. Suitable for MacPherson struts, double wishbone suspension and various hydraulic shock absorber/damper assemblies. We support customized drawings & samples to match different damper structure requirements for aftermarket replacement and OEM projects.

Usage & Notes

Usage

Installed inside shock absorber dampers, the rod guide acts as the positioning and supporting component for piston rod. It keeps the piston rod moving on a straight track, absorbs lateral force and isolates the sealing system from friction damage. The high density and wear-resistant property extend the service life of the whole shock absorber assembly under long-term road vibration.

Notes

  1. Please confirm the dimension tolerance, material density requirement and working temperature range before customization.

  2. Ensure the matching piston rod surface finish meets specification during assembly, to maximize wear resistance performance.

  3. Avoid overloading and continuous extreme impact beyond the design load limit.

  4. If you have special requirements on density, hardness or surface treatment, please submit technical drawings for evaluation.

If you need customized shock absorber components or piston rod guides with specified density and wear-resistant performance, feel free to send your drawings and specifications to sales@bonporaparts.com.
