Shock Piston Rod is the core moving component of a shock absorber. One end is connected to the piston assembly and positioned inside the working cylinder, while the other end passes through the oil seal and guide seat, connecting to the vehicle body or suspension.
Material High-strength carbon steel (e.g., S45C, S55C) or alloy steel (e.g., 40Cr), with surface induction hardening or carburizing treatment.
Functions During the compression and rebound strokes of the shock absorber, the piston rod transmits the relative motion between the wheel and the vehicle body, driving the piston to move through the oil, thereby generating damping force. It also serves as a guiding and sealing mating part, withstanding bending loads and surface friction.
